Meet the crew
Em Bell - Crew CaptainEm bell is a vertically challenged adventure nut who has a penchant for burgers, an inappropriate love for hugging, eyes that change colour and a tendency to sleepwalk. Last summer she stand-up paddle boarded 1001 miles down the Missouri River on the support team for Dave Cornthwaite who swam the distance. Back in London she is Managing Editor of luxury magazine, Pomp. Obviously with a thing for gingers and the organisational skills of a Jedi, she's set to keep the crew in line this summer. After Conway makes it to John O'Groats safe and sound, she's setting off on her own expedition to kick a scooter 2000 miles around Italy.

Owain Wyn-Jones - Head of Press and PROwain is a freelance marketing and media consultant working in the private and third sectors. After founding successful advertising and IT businesses, he walked away from the boardroom to fulfil an ambition to work closely with SME’s and charities. With a glass half full attitude, Owain lives by the motto “you can either find a way, or make a way”.
Five Facts: 1. Once lost 1 stone in weight in 6 days for a bet 2. Got knocked off his mountain bike by a nurse driving a car 3. Met his wife on a blind date arranged via Facebook 4. Has a poor memory 5. Can’t remember the fifth fact! www.wyn-jones.net |
